I had been a certified translator English-Czech since 1995, however, I turned freelance in 2004 only.

I studied at Masaryk University in Brno, English-Philosophy, later on at Middlesex University, London, Media Studies, and finally, I graduated ING Business School in Amsterdam.

Over the years I worked in direct marketing (ICL London - currently a part of Fujistu, Papirius - recently taken over by Office Depot, Magnet Camit - today a member of La Redoute, France), I worked in direct distribution and financial services (ING Group - Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Romania, eBanka Czech Republic - currently Raiffeisen Bank), and in industrial investments (OTK Romania, Hame Romania).

Since 2004 I have turned a “full-time” freelance translator - several major projects I worked on are mentioned on the right side of the page.

SDL TRADOS

All projects are rendered in Trados Studio 2009 (or 2007, if required by the client). I also provide Trados trainings for the Czech distributor of SDL products (www.zstudio.cz) - currently, we have over 50 students trained.

Beside Trados, I am proficient in Across, LogoPort, Sisulizer, Passolo, WordFast, Omega and many other CAT tools.
